Angela Paxton Art

Angela is a Cleveland local, painting the sights that steal her heart. Having studied Art in high school, Angela resumed her passion after being inspired by her historic Redlands as it faced progress and change.

An old Queenslander in her twilight years. A church dappled in shadows from an ancient fig. The iconic lighthouse. Each a postcard of the past. No matter the season, the brilliant blue Redlands sky is a signature backdrop in many of her works. 

Using watercolour and gouache mediums, Angela paints landscapes from her own reference photos that she captures on her daily travels. Birds are also a key subject that reflect her love of the natural environment unique to the Redlands.
